For non-technical teams

I help small business owners take their team from AI dabblers to power users.

You know there’s a gap between what AI can do and what your team’s actually getting out of it. I close that gap by shifting your team from treating it like a chatbot to using it as a tool to deliver sharper work, faster.

Overview

Watch my 2-minute overview.

Quick hello from me and what this is all about.

How it works

Four phases.

Across the engagement I run four phases, each with clear deliverables, so you always know what’s happening and what’s coming next.

01Phase

Audit + Review

A deep dive into how your team uses AI today and where the gaps are. The findings shape the training day and build day that follow.

What you get

  • Senior leadership and individual team surveys
  • Written audit covering where each person sits, tools in use, what's working, what isn't
  • Strategy call with senior leadership to walk through what we found
  • Tailored plan for the training day and workshop, built from the audit
02Phase

Tooling and infrastructure

I set up the team-owned accounts and shared infrastructure the team will run on. The foundation everything else sits on.

What you get

  • A foundation that scales as the business grows
  • Cohesive tools so everyone works from the same playbook
  • Shared systems so improvements compound across the team, not stuck with one person
  • Tighter security and access controls
03Phase

Training day

A custom training day built from the audit findings. Concepts and frameworks they'll put to use the next day.

What you get

  • Custom curriculum shaped by the audit
  • Core concepts pitched at the team's current level
  • Light hands-on exercises so the concepts stick
  • A shared vocabulary the whole team carries forward
04Phase

Build day

Full hands-on day in the tools, on each person's machine. Where it all comes together and the team walks out set up and ready.

What you get

  • Personal setups configured on each person's machine
  • Tailored use cases built around each role
  • Real workflows running on real team work
  • Everyone leaves comfortable running on their own

Format

Remote or in person

Timeline

2-4 weeks, flexible to team capacity

Price is based on team size, scope, and remote vs in person.

Approach

What this is, and what it isn’t.

This is about skilling your team up to use AI as a tool for everyday work, not coming in, building one automation, and walking away. The team that knows how to use these tools will get a lot further as AI keeps evolving.

What this is
  • Skilling up the team you already have
  • Using AI to amplify humans, not replace them
  • Getting the team confident enough to keep improving their own setup
  • Treating taste, judgment and expertise as the things that make the work good
  • Hands-on, with everyone in the room
What this isn’t
  • Replacing people with AI
  • Automating everything
  • Outsourcing the thinking to AI
  • Building you one workflow and walking away
  • A course or a strategy deck

AI works best when it’s amplifying capable people, not substituting for them. The team’s taste, judgment and expertise are what make the work good. AI just gets you there faster.

Who this is for

Is this for your team?

I work best with small businesses and agencies whose teams are already using AI casually, who want everyone skilled up, and who can move quickly to get there.

Good fit
  • Small businesses or agencies, 2 to 10 people
  • Knowledge work, anyone who uses a computer for most of their work
  • Non-technical teams welcome, no one needs to know how to code
  • Already using AI in some capacity, but no formal setup, everyone on personal accounts
  • Lean and autonomous, can make decisions and move without heavy approval layers
  • Open to AI as a useful tool, not sceptical of the technology in principle
  • Owner wants the team skilled up, not the team replaced
Not a fit
  • Teams inside larger businesses with heavy approval layers
  • Looking to cut headcount
  • Already leveraging AI heavily across the business
  • Anti-AI in principle or treating AI as a burden
  • Want a cheap course, not a hands-on engagement
  • Developer or fully technical teams
  • Large teams
About me

Who you’re working with.

Jack Clark, solo AI consultant based in Adelaide.

I spent more than ten years in SEO and digital marketing, mostly inside Australian agencies, working across some of the country’s largest ecommerce catalogues and most recognisable brands. My last role was Head of SEO where I spent the last few years leading teams and shaping strategy at the senior end of the business.

When ChatGPT launched, I got obsessed. I’ve spent pretty much every day since digging into how these tools work, what they can do, and how to use them to actually deliver real work. Claude, n8n, Gemini, ChatGPT, all of it. It’s become a genuine passion of mine.

Last year I went solo, still doing digital marketing for clients while heavily leveraging AI in all the work I delivered. I cofounded Battler Golf League with my mate Ryan, a national golf league we built end-to-end using Claude Code, and that experience made the next move obvious. The goal from there was to focus JILK on AI consultancy and help other businesses do the same with their teams. That’s where I’ve landed today.

I’m not overly technical. I’ve just gotten good at using AI as a non-technical operator, and that’s the exact perspective I bring to the teams I work with.

Outside of work, I’m in the Adelaide Hills with my wife, two retired greyhounds, a coffee setup that’s gotten out of hand, and a golf handicap I’m always trying to bring down.
